Dear Autumn

Dear Autumn, stay.

Ruminating over the setting Sun
Basking in the glory of colourful memories
To now of shedding leaves
Rustling with footprints of bygones

Cold and silver winter awaits
Of gloom and blues
They say make way for spring
Well what promise shall it bring
With flowers fragrant no more
The Sun more glaring than warm
How do I look ahead
The soul comforted with the silent shades of today
Dear Autumn, stay.
